Associations, Leagues and Community Programs or Teams
Local leagues or community programs can apply in writing to their zone chair for membership in Hockey North. They must submit their constitution, bylaws and/or their regulations and procedures along with their letter of application. A Registration package will be sent to the contact listed in the application.
In the event that the league or community program is not a duly incorporated association under their territorial legislation, the application must acknowledge that the league or program will operate under the constitution, bylaws and policies followed by their respective zone and the branch.
Individuals, Players, Coaches, Managers
Individuals must follow the application process for membership in their local hockey program, league or teams. Membership with your local organization will automatically register you with Hockey Canada. A portion of the fees you pay to your local hockey program will be forwarded to your zone registrar and Hockey Canada on your behalf. Officials
All officials are registered directly with the branch through their respective league or zone Referee in Cheif (RIC). Officials are paid fees for their services, which are set by the leagues or zones responsible for the events that the officials are operating in.
